Happy Easter!
Congressman Jack's Easter Greetings from the Road
If you know me at all, you know that while I may wear a suit and tie when I need to be representing, I am much more comfortable in a flannel shirt and boots doing rugged outdoor stuff. Whether it’s barbequing, fixing stuff around the house, or shooting at stuff, I’m what they call a man’s man.
That’s why this Easter, I’m in a remote part of Florida with friends on a camping and hunting trip. I hope you’ll understand that I need to protect our privacy as well as helping to avoid a large stream of tourists coming to this pristine and rugged wilderness. In fact, it’s so secluded, it could only be reached by monorail.
It’s been an amazing trip so far and a welcome respite from CPAC’s business. Being outdoors with my buddies, drinking beer, and shooting rifles—that’s the life for me. Say that I’m too hyper masculine. I’ll plead guilty, but there’s just something special about being out in nature like this. We even saw a lion. You have to be very careful around them, but their majestic beauty can’t be denied.
Of course, I’m the one who shot it, but just like sustainable fishermen throwing back their catch, I only shot to wound it and then let it go. We set a basecamp at the foot of a mountain, and we will try to reach the summit tomorrow. I’ll keep you posted.
I join with President Trump in extending the joyous spirit of rebirth and renewal that is Easter to you and yours. Have a wonderful day and a beautiful Spring!

This is why I vote for you early and often! Have your Sherpa take a photo when you summit, Sir!
Jack, you are a true adventurer. Recharge those alkaline batteries for your return to the hard work of getting absolutely nothing done in Congress. It’s a tough job but somebody has to do it. You are the very best.
I’ll bet you are great at yodeling. If so, you will delight all the wildlife on that crag.
