CA-54 Incumbent in Strong Position for General Election

Thank you all for your support. It means so much to me. I just want to take care of a little housekeeping first, as you know by now, it is a cash bar. I have no idea how the invitations got printed saying open bar. However, I am sure you would all prefer that money be used for the tough fight ahead rather than for paying our bar tabs.

If in this campaign we have brought a little joy into your humdrum lives, it makes us feel as though our hard work ain't been in vain for nothing. I’d like to thank President Trump for endorsing me just as adamantly as he endorsed Nancy Mace. I haven’t had a chance to look at the results from South Carolina, but I’m sure she’s doing great.

To my opponent, Lee DePollo, I would love to congratulate you on a hard fought race, but you lost. You lost badly. I understand that several members of your immediate family voted for me. I know you spent some of your own money on this race. I hope it was worth it because you sucked. I’ve been running for the House since 2006 and I’ve never had as crappy a primary opponent.

For all the little Kimblemaniacs out there tonight who dream that this can be you someday, I say keep dreaming. It’s a pretty sweet gig. Just remember I’m going to be sticking around for awhile so plan on running when you’re old and gray or move to another district.

My opponent in the general is a typical Sacramento liberal in Gordon Richards. Do you know what he said about out district? It doesn’t matter what he said about our district. Nobody cares what that fool has to say.

We’re all Americans even when we disagree with each other. We can disagree without tearing each other down. Mudslinging doesn’t fix roads, lower prices, or keep families safe. It only divides us. Let’s argue ideas, not insults. This is the time for leadership that solves problems instead of shouting over them, which is why I’m so disappointed in my opponent. Hisr radical socialist ideas are so out of touch with the values that have made our country great, that I have to wonder if he even loves America or just wants to enrich himself through graft and bribery. As a man in of a certain age, let’s face it he is extremely low T. This undoubtedly leads to the kind of erratic behavior we’ve seen from him on the campaign trail including vicious mudslinging. Demand more from your politicians. We need vision, not mudslinging.
